Caird Research Fellowships Applications 2026-7

Applications for 2026-27 are now open (deadline 18 January 2026)

Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG) has a highly regarded research fellowship programme. For many years this programme has facilitated high-quality research, providing new perspectives on its sites and collections and supporting RMG public programmes and displays.

RMG welcome applications from anyone with relevant lived or academic experience who can demonstrate a commitment and ability to undertake independent research.

They welcome research that engages with the Museum’s social purpose and guiding concepts, which include identity, diversity, community, creativity and human impacts on the planet and our natural world.

Prospective applicants should refer to Royal Museums Greenwich's Strategic Vision for background information.

Engagement with RMG collections is strongly encouraged, and applicants should consult the Museum’s Library and Archive online catalogue and Collections Online before submitting an application.
